Frequently asked questions
What people usually ask before the first class.
- 01Do I need a partner to learn Bachata?
- No. Classes are individual or in a small group, with no fixed partner required — you learn to dance Bachata on your own and gain confidence on the floor.
- 02What is the difference between sensual and Dominican bachata?
- Dominican is the original style from Santo Domingo, faster and full of footwork and turns. Sensual developed in Spain and uses more body waves and partner synchronisation.
- 03How many classes do I need to start dancing?
- With one class a week, most beginners dance comfortably at a social event after 6 to 10 classes.
- 04Are bachata classes only for women?
- The focus is feminine presence and styling, but private classes adapt to whoever wants to learn. Get in touch and we will tailor it.
